News Music Awards for Godolphin Sisters 27.05.2021

Congratulations to Godolphin sisters Inez and Isabell who received awards in both the North London Festival of Music, Speech and Drama and the Richmond Performing Arts Virtual Music Festival.

In the North London Festival, Inez won second prize in the 12-13 age category for strings, and Isabell picked up third prize in the 14-18 category. Inez also won the Festival’s best cello prize, the Susanne Beer Cello Corner Foundation Prize, which supports young musicians in attaining excellence in performance.

Inez and Isabell also participated in the Richmond Performing Arts Virtual Music Festival. Isabell ran out as winner of the Intermediate Recital class, while Inez won the String Solo 15 and under, and 18 and under classes. Together they played the duet Grotesque by Rebecca Clarke and won first prize in the Family Group class.
