News Bach to School 08.01.2021

Over the Christmas break, A Level Music students Florence, Charlotte and Mee appeared in two virtual concerts with the Gabrieli Consort and Players and students from choirs around the country as part of Bach to School – a flexible resource project developed to tackle the challenges created by the pandemic in engaging young people in choral work.

Our Sixth Formers performed two of Bach’s Chorale settings: BWV 79 ‘Nun danket alle Gott’ and BWV 147 ‘Jesus bleibet meine Freude’ as part of a series of six streamed programmes of Bach’s ‘Christmas Oratorio’ for Christmas and New Year.
