News Debaters pit their wits against opponents from Harrow School in virtual debates 26.11.2020

On Thursday, sixteen keen debaters in Years 10, 11 and the Lower Sixth pitted their wits against opponents from Harrow School in four simultaneous virtual debates.

The motion ‘This house would entirely abolish GCSE and A Level national exams’ was vigorously proposed by Harrow but the Godolphin students put up a well-argued opposition case and were named the winning team in three out of the four debates. Congratulations to the winners: Lower Sixth students Daisy and Cecilia, Georgina and Isa, and Hannah and Anais.
