PTFAParents, Teachers and Friends’ Association
The aim of our PTFA is to continue to build a strong, vibrant and active parent community through formal and informal social events – such as the Jazz Night and Quiz Night – and to better connect and support one another. All parents automatically become members of the PTFA when their daughter joins the school and you will quickly discover that we are a very warm, friendly and inclusive community.
The PTFA supports the girls’ learning experience by organising a number of fundraising activities including the Christmas Bazaar and the Summer Garden Party. In the past few years the PTFA has helped fund the girls’ chosen House charities and Challenge Your Limits Week, and has raised money for a host of items to enrich learning such as a 3D printer, pottery wheels and kiln, a drone, Go-Pro cameras, sports equipment and software for our computer clubs.
The PTFA Committee provides a forum to exchange important information between the school and the Godolphin families and includes representatives from school staff and parents. The committee is supported by two class reps from each form throughout the school who often organise opportunities for parents in their form to get together.
When parents join the school they will be given log-in details for the Parent Portal and will be asked to sign-up to the parent directory.
